Expert Oversight. Community Roots.
Home care should never feel like a random assignment. Our Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) are trained, mentored, and supported by experienced leadership so families can feel confident about who enters their home.
Expert Oversight for Peace of Mind
Every Personal Care Assistant (PCA) is mentored by our founder, Dr. Esther Castillo, a nationally recognized community health expert and changemaker. Her leadership ensures our team is prepared not only for daily care tasks, but also for the emotional and behavioral challenges that can come with aging.
A Trust-First Hiring Process
We take hiring seriously because trust is the foundation of home care. Rather than relying on anonymous job boards alone, we recruit through trusted partnerships with local nonprofits, government agencies, and respected community leaders who know our caregivers personally.
This community-based approach helps us identify caregivers with strong character, reliability, and a genuine commitment to caring for others.
Specialized Dementia & Behavior Support
Many families seeking care are navigating dementia or Alzheimer’s. Our caregivers receive training in empathy-based de-escalation techniques designed to safely support individuals experiencing confusion, anxiety, or agitation.
This training helps caregivers respond calmly, reduce distress, and protect the dignity of the person receiving care.
The Power of Community
Caregiving is deeply emotional work. When caregivers feel supported, they provide better care and stay committed to the families they serve.
Our team stays connected through active WhatsApp groups and regular community gatherings where caregivers can share advice, ask questions, and support one another.
If challenges arise during care, our caregivers have a network they can turn to for guidance and encouragement. That support helps them stay confident, calm, and present for the families they serve
Caregivers Who Support Each Other
Cultural Understanding & Human Connection
Many members of our caregiving team come from immigrant communities and bring a deep respect for family, elders, and caregiving traditions.
They often connect naturally with clients through shared language, cultural understanding, and what many call their “heart language.” This creates meaningful relationships that help clients feel seen, respected, and emotionally supported in their own homes.
